Hotel Information
The newly renovated Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Airport reserved a block of rooms for those attending the reunion in-person. The room cost is $124.00 for the King Bed Suite and $144 for the 2 Double Beds Suite. Carrie Lucas is our sales coordinator and she can be reached at (210) 582-6511 or via email carrie.lucas@hilton.com to make your reservations. The rooms are listed under JAGALP. Texas is a tax-free state. At check-in request to fill out the Tax-Exempt Form and show your military or government ID and you will be exempt from paying room taxes. Complimentary full American cook-to-order breakfast will be served every morning. In addition, a complimentary evening reception every night that offers alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks with snacks. An Embassy Suites shuttle bus is available for free pick up and drop off at the San Antonio Airport.

5:30-7:30 pm - Ice Breaker at the hotel (cost $25/per person) & In-person Silent Auction opens
Friday, September 15
6:00-8:30 am Breakfast
8:30-11:45 am - Morning Meeting starting in the Mesquite Live Oak Conference Room at hotel
- Report by Executive Committee - Association update, financial report, membership, retiree data
- Briefing by NFPA Director of Paralegal Certification - Lisa Vessles
- Briefing on Certification/CLES - SGM Anthony Rausch
- State of the Corps/Proponency - RCSM Mike Bostic
12:00-12:30 pm - Lunch on your own
12:30-1:00 pm - Transport to downtown *Meet at front of the hotel
1:00-3:30 pm - Immigration CLE (separate registration is required using this link, if you require a CLE Certificate or attending remotely) at the Immigration Court (hosted by Jamal), facility tour, then return to hotel. *For virtual attendees, your registration confirmation will include the Zoom links needed to access the virtual meetings.
3:30-4:30 pm - Make your way back to the hotel
4:30 pm - Transportation to game *meet at front of the hotel
5:00-9:00 pm University Texas San Antonio (UTSA) Roadrunners v. Army Knights then return to hotel. Free tickets provided *Attendees responsible for own food & beverage).
Saturday, September 16
8:00-10:00 am - JAGALP meeting in the Mesquite Live Oak Conference Room at hotel
10:00-10:30 am - Silent Auction ends & winners announced
10:30 am -12:00 pm - Lunch on your own
12:00-3:00 pm (Voluntary) - Transportation to American Legion to volunteer to assist veterans fill out Power of Attorneys. Notaries will be on hand to assist. *Meet at front of the hotel for transportation to event.
3:00-5:00 pm - Free time - Time to relax or explore the River Walk.
5:00-6:00 pm - Make your way to the San Antonio Canopy Hotel, 123 N. St. Mary's Street, San Antonio, TX 78205 (210.404.7516) on the San Antonio Riverwalk and mingle in the reception area (cash bar available).
6:00-8:00 pm - Buffet dinner $65/each includes gratuity, (cash bar available).
8:00-11:00 pm - Options
- Take early return van back to the Embassy Suite Hotel (leaves at 8:30 pm);
- continue mingling on the Canopy Balcony to see the beautiful view of the River Walk;
- take a stroll along the river (easy access from the hotel);
- go to the Ochoa Bar on the third floor of the Canopy Hotel;
- sight sighting and window shopping along the River Walk;
- Final return van departs the Canopy Hotel at 11:00 pm to take remaining attendees back to the Embassy Suites.
Sunday, September 17 - Depart for home.
Silent Auction
We will also continue the tradition of hosting the JAGALP in-person silent auction during the Annual Meeting & Reunion. We will open the auction on Thursday evening and close the final bids & announce the winners on Saturday morning.
